Poole Inlet Works IMCC

Scope of works

Design and manufacture of a new ‘Intelligent’ Form 4 Motor Control Centre.

• Form 4 MCC contained within a custom built enclosure.

The MCC’s functional Units included the following:

• Incomer Sections.
• Feeder Sections.
• DOL reversing starters using the Siemens Pro V Simocode Intelligent starter.
• Variable frequency starters using Siemens Micrometer 440 VFD’s.
• Common Control Section with Pulsar Ultra 5 level controls and Siemens remote I/O PLC.

All functional units were on two profibus networks that were wired within the MCC.

• Full Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT) prior to delivery.
• The supply of full documentation to include Declaration of Conformity Certification confirming adherence to BS EN 61439-2:2011, LV Directive and the EMC Directive.
