Technical Development & Training

The professional development of our employees is facilitated through a number of technical development and training programmes:

The Career Development Association was created to provide all employees with the encouragement and support to maximise their personal potential and become a member of a professional association. The investment in our staff development has resulted in exceptional success with membership of leading UK Professional Associations such as

We currently have twenty five Chartered Engineers working within our business and an additional 150 following training programmes towards Professional Associations. 

• In-house CITB and British Safety Council accredited training facility
• Project Management Courses in SMSTS, CIOB, SMETS and NEBOSH

Each year our staff participate in over 35,000 man-hours of training and development. Training programmes are delivered through our in-house CITB and British Safety Council Accredited training facility. A variety of training courses and NVQs are available in Health and Safety, Technical, Commercial and core Engineering Competencies.

Our Graduate Programme is designed to build a platform of industry and technical knowledge, structured experience and complementary training and development. It provides the tools and opportunity to establish a solid pathway and knowledge to attain professional registration and senior engineering positions.

We combine engineering technical training with a leadership skills programme delivering exceptional engineering talent.

Our apprenticeship trainee programme remains strong with over 55 apprentices working in a range of engineering & construction disciplines. 

We work closely with employees, offering encouragement and support for further education and professional development courses at Universities and Colleges throughout the country.
