EICA Design
Our E&I Engineering and Design team provide professional engineering design and project management, to customers within the UK giving direct access to expert advice at every stage. Our Design Managers have the technical knowledge to provide advice at consulting level in their own discipline plus access to the wider expertise within the Trant group of companies. This in-house expertise covers the full range of design, engineering, construction and project management specialities.
We also have our own highly-skilled trade teams providing complementary services including MEI (mechanical, electrical & instrumentation), Installation and Commissioning.
We deliver electrical control and instrumentation for a range of clients and have demonstrated experience in providing project delivery across various process sectors.
We are able to provide CompEx/ATEX electrical and instrumentation engineers who have experience in refurbishment/upgrades to distribution board/MCC, pre-start commissioning phasing, project work including LV/HV replacement and system commissioning.
Experience includes:
- HV and LV power distribution systems.
- Complete fully integrated EICA detailed design for installation and support thorough construction.
- Hazardous area systems and equipment design and installation.
- Process control and automation system design including DCS systems, PLC systems.
- Certified designers for Fieldbus (Profibus).
- Critical Trip systems and SIL level assessment.
- Fire detection system specification.
- Lightning and surge protection analysis and design.
- Pneumatic control systems.
- Analytical and Process Instrumentation.
- Electrical asset management.
- NICEIC accreditation for industrial and hazardous area applications.
- Electrical safety consultancy and compliance audits to the Electricity at Work Regulations 1989.
- CDM Design Risk Assessment.
